The Daibosatsu Area, Part 1 (November 3rd)

Maple trees were beautiful in the sun.

We went to Kami Hikawa Pass, which is one of the main entrances to Mt. Daibosatsu.  When we got to the Kai Yamato Sta., there were quite a few people getting off at the station and running for the bus to the pass.
At the pass, most of the leaves were gone already, so we decided to walk back towards the station.  As we went down to the lower elevation, we found colorful leaves.

Miscanthus sinensis (Susuki).

There were lots of beautiful larch trees.

Oak leaves trough the sun light.

Mt. Daibosatsu with maple trees.

Acer japonicum (Hauchiwa Kaede).
