Mt. Takao (June 15th)

 

Lecanorchis japonica (Muyou Ran).

I saw this weird orchid for the first time!

    When I got up this morning, it was not raining, so I quickly decided to go to look for some orchids in Mt. Takao.
It was so humid when I was climbing the mountain.  However, I succeeded in finding the orchids I was looking for.  One of the orchids I found is Lecanorchis japonica (Muyou Ran), which has no leaves or klorofil.  They grow in the darker forest and it was hard to take picture without flash.

高尾山にムヨウランを探しに行ってきました。
実は初めて見たのですが、ただでさえ曇りで暗いのに、より暗いところを選んで咲いているかのように、薄暗い森の中で咲いていました。

アジサイのきれいな季節になりました。

沢沿いでヤマカガシを見つけました。

エキゾチックな柄です。

こちらのヨウラクランも初めて見ました。

薄暗いし遠いしでブレブレです。

３株ほど幹にくっついてました。

クロップしてもぼやーっとしてます。

お初のムヨウラン。フラッシュなしだとこんな感じ。

立ち姿はマヤランと似てます。

でも、こっちの方がサイズは大きめです。

クロップしてみると、唇弁の鮮やかな黄色に気が付きます。

密集した毛も面白いです。

If you look at the flower closely, it is pretty beautiful.

フラッシュなしだと、こんな風なので、

あまり目立ちません。

地味だけど、じっくり見るとなかなかきれいです。

意外と株数があって驚きました。

ヤマアジサイもかなり咲いていました。

 

久々に下山はちょっとズルしました。

歩いていたときはムシムシしてましたが、

ここは涼しかったです。

I have never noticed this orchid before.

カヤランってこんな所にあったんですね。

初めて気が付いた。
