The Hike to Mt. Nyuutou, Part 1 (September 21st)

Gentiana triflora var. montana (Ezo Oyama Rindou).

After staying at the 8th station hut of Mt. Akitakomagatake, we hiked to Mt. Nyuutou.
Here are the first bunch of the pictures taken on the way to the mountain.
These were taken on the trail through Mt. Sasamori, Mt. Yumori and Mt. Zarumori.

Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta (Nikkou Kisuge, or Zenteika).

トレイル沿いにリンドウの花が絶えず咲いています。

Hypericum kamtschaticum var. hondoense (Iwa Otogiri).
The whole plant turned red.

When we left the hut, the landscape was covered with clouds.

However, the clouds were clearing off.

You can find some small ponds and marshes here and there.

The undulating curves of the land were interesting.
