Mt. Takao (May 23rd)

Paeonia japonica (Benibana Yama Shakuyaku).
Quite a few people found this spot already...

We went to Mt. Takao to see what kind of flowers were blooming.
We found more Dendrobium moniliforme (Sekkoku) flowers than I had expected.
It seems they started to bloom earlier this year.

高尾山に出かけてきました。
セッコクがかなり咲いていました。やっぱり今年はこちらも花期が早めなのかなぁ…
気になってたもうひとつの花は、蕾からピンクが見え始めていました。あと何日かかるかなぁ…

The Scenery with Water and Soft Greens (May 10th)

I enjoyed following the trail by the creek the last weekend.
There were some Rhododendron degronianum (Azuma Shakunage) flowers blooming, but it seems that it is not good year for this kind of blossom this year.
I was amazed by the color of the creek.  It was so beautiful.

I love larch forest!

 Isn't it amazing?
