Road Trip to Fairbanks, Day 11, Part 2 (June 3rd)

 Haliaeetus leucocephalus (Bald Eagle).

Here is the second bunch of the pictures take on Day 11 of our road trip.
The highway goes by Kluane Lake and the view was great.

Kathleen Lake...I think...

Haines Jct.

On the way from Haines Jct. to Kluane Lake,
we saw lots of great snowy mountains.

Through the driver's window.

Kluane Lake, the biggest lake in Yukon.

The view from Tachal Dhal (Sheep Mountain) Visitor Center.

Can you see some white dots in the center of this picture?

Here is the cropped one, but they are still too small...
The answer is Dall Sheep!

Hedysarum boreale subsp. mackenzii (Norther Sweetvetch).
Almost albino one...We found only one of this whitish one.

The beautiful reflection on Kluane Lake.

Chamerion latifolium (formerly Epilobium latifolium, Dwarf Fireweed).

A kind of smaller version of forget-me-not?

Haliaeetus leucocephalus (Bald Eagle).
We found at least four of them on the way to our campground,
Lake Creek Campground.
